Indian Head Massage
The history of Indian Head Massage
Originally Indian Head Massage was practiced by the women of India in order to keep their long hair in a beautiful and healthy condition. They used a variety of oils, such as sesame, olive, coconut and almond to name a few. Regular massage promoted a lustrous healthy growth and improved the circulation, with the oils improving the texture of the hair. Barbers in India then started to introduce it as a treatment for their male customers. Nowadays it is given to babies from an early age and families massage each other.
Improving the circulation has the effect of increasing the flow of nutrients to the hair follicles, enhancing, nourishing and revitalising hair growth, therefore men can really benefit from this treatment.
More than one session may be needed depending on how long the condition has been present and lifestyle factors

Used constructively it can enhance our well-being, improve our lives and we can discover more about ourselves at the same time.
The history
Colour therapy is an age old therapy and evidence has been found that the Ancient Egyptians used it. It is also believed that the people of Atlantis used colour in their healing temples.
First session
At a first session you will be asked to choose three coloured cards from a series of eight and from the colours chosen and the order they are chosen in you will be offered an interpretation of what your choice reflects about yourself at this moment in time. It provides guidance as to how to take responsibility for overcoming problems and make the most of your potential strengths.
Second and subsequent sessions
Prior to the second session you will fill a form in and provide a small recent photograph of yourself. A spine chart will then be dowsed prior to your second visit and this will give an idea as to the imbalances within the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of your life. Coloured light is given by projecting light through a large crystal. Imbalances are worked through with the client prior to giving a light treatment. This helps to enhance the healing process. Sessions take about one and a half hours
Homework maybe given to you at the end of each session and this may include:

Hopi Ear Candling
The history
The oldest recorded use of ear candling is by the Hopi Pueblo Indians of South Western America. The Hopi Indians used the candles both for spiritual and physical reasons.
What to expect at a treatment session
After a brief medical history has been taken, you will be asked to lie down on your side and a lighted candle is placed upright in the exposed ear. After ten minutes or so, and the candle has been extinguished, you will be asked to roll onto your other side and the same process is repeated. After each ear has been treated, you will then be asked to lie on your back and a wonderfully soothing face and neck massage is given in order to enhance the effect of the candles. You will remain fully clothed at all times and each session takes about 45 minutes.
How does it work?
The herbs, wax and honey, which the candles are soaked in, have a soothing effect, while the gentle warmth changes the pressure in the ear, which massages the ear drum and the ossicle bones. The soothing vapours gently permeate out to the sinuses and the surrounding structures. At no time can smoke or any other substance go beyond the ear drum. The face and neck massage helps to enhance the effects of the candles.
What are the benefits?
There are many conditions which may be helped by having the Hopi Indian Ear Candle Therapy and these include:
More than one session may be needed depending on how long the condition has been present and lifestyle factors
